![]() Destiny (Katelyn Olsen) is a whale shark who can’t seem to swim well, due to the fact that her eyes are on either side of her head. I think we all can relate to Becky sometimes, and that’s why I love her. Maybe not in the most efficient or timely way… but the job will get done. She is quite definitely a hot mess, always wild and disheveled looking. Most of the time she is not taken seriously, but she gets the job one. He is only welcome when they need something from him, like his trusty bucket, but he will never rest at his attempts to lay on that rock! Gerald doesn’t get enough credit in my opinion, he’s one of the funniest parts of the whole movie.īecky is the ever-so-under-appreciated common loon who helps out Nemo and Marlin on their crazy adventure. Gerald is a deranged sea lion who just wants his chance to hang out with Fluke & Rudder (Idris Elba & Dominic West), who are very territorial about their rock. All of their scenes were so enjoyable to watch. Also included in flashbacks are Dory’s parents Jenny & Charlie played by Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. You will fall in love with her as soon as you lay eyes on her. She is shown in many adorable, heartbreaking flashbacks throughout the film. She’s one of the most lovable, plucky Disney characters out there. Most of my favorite scenes included young Dory, who stole the movie in my opinion. Ray & his students, and a few others, too! This sequel takes place only one year after Finding Nemo, so not much about those characters has changed.Īnd then, of course, there is Dory! Prominently the star of this film, Dory is funny, caring, sweet and courageous. You just can’t help but root for her. Some of our returning friends are, Nemo, Marlin, Mr. Today, I am going to introduce you to some of the movie’s characters, and hopefully, it will excite you enough to go see Finding Dory for yourself! This weekend I got to see Disney Pixar’s newest animated feature, Finding Dory! I think it is fantastic sequel to Finding Nemo, despite my fear that it wouldn’t be! Finding Dory is filled with many great characters, some new and some old, and retains the same magical, nostalgic feel from the original. Since then it has always been a part of my life. When I was 16 months old I saw my first movie in the theater, Finding Nemo.
